Contracted Plans
Guadalupe Valley Healthcare Network contracts with various Commercial Managed Care Plans that provide Preferred Provider Organization (PPO)
benefits, enabling businesses and individuals to access our providers easily and affordably. GVHN also contracts with Managed Medicaid Plans
to provide managed Medicaid Services in our service area.
GVHN and its providers continuously evaluate and facilitate discussions with prospective payer groups. To request that GVHN consider adding
a specific health plan, e-mail us.
GVHN is not a health insurance agency and does not sell health insurance directly to the public. However, GVHN works with various local
health insurance agents to ensure that the community has a variety of affordable, quality managed care and health insurance options.
The following companies recognize GVHN providers as in-network providers. By utilizing a Participating Provider, patients can typically
receive greater financial benefit—through co-pays, lower deductibles and co-insurance, as designated by their own health
plan—versus other non-contracted, non-participating health care providers.

*Please note: The state of Texas is expanding Managed Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
in our service area. GVHN is currently reviewing new contracts with various payers to accommodate these changes.
