GVHN
Guadalupe Valley Healthcare Network is a physician hospital organization (PHO)
that contracts with various managed care networks and insurance organizations on
behalf of its physician and hospital provider members. Through these contractual
arrangements, GVHN facilitates access to its providers through over 100 insurance
and employer-sponsored health plans. GVHN strives to meet the needs of its local
community by seeking contractual relationships with local and area providers and
managed care companies that provide quality and affordable health benefit plans.

Since 1995, Guadalupe Valley Healthcare Network-a physician hospital organization
(PHO)- has contracted with various managed care networks and insurance organizations
on behalf of its physician and hospital provider members. Through these contractual
arrangements, GVHN facilitates access to its providers through over 100 insurance
and employer-sponsored health plans.
GVHN continually expands its provider network, which now includes
Guadalupe Regional Medical Center,
Otto Kaiser Memorial Hospital,
South Texas Surgical Center and more than 130 physicians from Seguin,
New Braunfels, San Marcos,
Floresville, Kenedy and San Antonio.
GVHN strives to meet the needs of the community by seeking contractual relationships
with local and area providers and managed care companies that provide quality and
affordable health benefit plans. GVHN has also expanded its list of managed care plans
that local businesses and individuals can choose from for in-network health insurance
providers.
Although GVHN does not sell health insurance directly to the public, it works with
independent local insurance agents who provide this service. Local agents work
with GVHN to ensure local businesses and individuals have a choice in various managed care/health
insurance products.
